Harry Ramsden's

Harry Ramsden's in Blackpool

You won't get better Fish and Chips anywhere in the UK than a Harry Ramsden's Fish and Chip Shop. The original Harry's was founded in 1927 by a Yorkshire entrepreneur who understood that Fish and Chips was more than just a takeaway snack. After building his now legendary restaurant in Guiseley, Harry Ramsden's fitted it out with carpets and chandeliers and set out to create the perfect Fish and Chips. The Harry Ramsden's restaurant brand entered the national consciousness when two advertising men took it over, eventually floating it on the stock exchange with an issue that was 2.5 times over subscribed.
