The US owner of Men's Health, Rodale Inc, appointed Golden Goose in 2013 to develop and execute a licensing programme. Our work involved clearing target categories, sourcing partners, contract development and negotiation, managing a complex approval process and ensuring affordable and aspirational products reached the shelves of retailers.
Not only did Golden Goose have to source partners that would create products worthy of the brand's premium positioning, we also had to ensure that each local publishing partner across the EMEA territory would buy-in to the licensed products and that the royalty generated would be attractive to the brand's US owner.
